
Gabriel Brust was born in Porto Alegre in 1983. He holds a degree in Media/Journalism from PUCRS and worked for seven years in the newsroom of the newspaper Zero Hora in Porto Alegre, and for three years at the newsroom of Radio France International in Paris.
He lived in France between 2009 and 2017, where he completed a Master’s degree in Sociology at Université Paris Descartes (SHS – Sorbonne).
Since 2017, he has been based in Düsseldorf, Germany, where he works as a freelance correspondent for Radio France International and other media outlets.
Over more than 15 years in Europe, he has worked as a freelance correspondent for several Brazilian media organizations, including Estadão, CBN, Veja, Rede Globo, and Folha de S.Paulo.
As a marketing and advertising copywriter, he has worked for the French companies AppGratis and Toluna, the German company Trivago, and the multinational advertising group WPP.
In his spare time, he edits the magazine Paris Lado B and the YouTube channel Sarau Elétrico.
